Meadowlark / Share 'Pink Heart' Video Ahead of European Headline Tour

Meadowlark Pink Heart2

Meadowlark have today shared an official video for their new single, ‘Pink Heart’. The track is taken from the duo’s debut album, ‘Postcards’ (out now on AllPoints) and its release this week precedes the band embarking on a European headline tour throughout March.

As with all of Meadowlark’s official videos, ‘Pink Heart’ was directed and produced by the band’s own Dan Broadley who is a professional videographer alongside being Meadowlark’s guitarist. The cut is a nostalgic look back at the band’s history and compiling it was a project which saw Dan trawling through hours and hours of footage captured throughout Meadowlark’s time together - right from the very early days as they were just starting out, to the process of recording their album, and the whirlwind of the last 18 months.

Dan himself explains: “The release of ‘Pink Heart’ coincides with the 5th anniversary of Meadowlarks existence. It felt right to look back over the last 5 years to see how far we've come not only as a band but as people too and compile some of our fondest memories into a video to one of our favourite songs from the album."

‘Pink Heart’ is a standout moment on ‘Postcards’. It’s Meadowlark at their most immediate. Kate McGill’s effortlessly cool vocals are layered over lush, carefully orchestrated production, making for a captivating listen. Watch ‘Pink Heart’ on YouTube HERE.

Meadowlark spent the bulk of 2017 extensively touring the UK; playing their own sold out headline shows, numerous festival dates, and supporting friends Amber Run & Aquilo. They’re now ready to embark on their own European headline tour which will take them around Germany and the Netherlands throughout March 2018.
